Gaelle BLOND was born in 1976. She is a CNRS Chargée de Recherche. She graduated at the University Claude Bernard of Lyon, where her obtained her PhD (2002) under the supervison of Prof. B. Langlois. She worked (2002-2003) as a postdoctoral fellow associate with Professor Alois Furstner at Max Planck Institute für Kohlenforschung in Mülheim. She moved to the University of Maine at Le Mans as an Attaché Temporaire d’Enseignement (2004) in the laboratory of Professor Saluzzo. She moved for a second posoition of ATER in Bordeaux (2004-2005), in the laboratory of Organic and Organometallic Chemistry of Prof. Fouquet. In 2005, she was appointed as a permanent researcher in the group of Prof. J Suffert as a Chargée de Recherches in in the Laboratoire d'Innovation Thérapeutique in the Faculté de Pharmacie of Strasbourg. She is currently working on the development on new cascade reactions using transition metals, the synthesis of polycylic complex molecules using new methodologies.
