Bio:

Yongmei obtained Ph.D from University of Notre Dame, under direct supervision by Dr. Larry K. Patterson and Dr. Robert H. Schuler. Her Ph.D work was on experimental fluorescence spectroscopy. Afterwards, she moved to University of Akron and worked with Prof. Wayne L. Mattice. It is there she began her research career in polymer and macromolecules.
