Huber, Paul
Geboren 1910 in Rekingen. Studium der Physik bei Paul Scherrer an der ETH Zürich, Promotion 1938. 1941/42 Privatdozent an der ETH, 1942 Berufung nach Basel, bis 1972 Ordinarius für Experimentalphysik und Direktor des phsysikalischen Instituts. Zusammen mit Paul Scherrer von der ETH einer der Pioniere in der schweizerischen Kernforschung. 1958 Rektor der Universität. 1971 in Zürich gestorben.
