Bio:

Gui Yu is currently a professor
at the Institute of Chemistry,
Chinese Academy of Sciences. He
graduated from Jilin University in
1988 and received his MS (1993)
and PhD (1997) degrees from
Changchun Institute of Physics,
Chinese Academy of Sciences.
After obtaining his PhD, he worked
as a postdoctoral fellow in the
Institute of Chemistry. Thereafter,
he was appointed to the position of
Associate Professor in 1999 and
promoted to Professor in 2008
