Bio:

Milon Sprecher Was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1929, and fled to England in 1939 where he received his High-School education. He reached the United States in January 1945, where he commenced his University Education, receiving his B.A. in 1947, his M.A. in 1949, and his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Columbia University, New York, in 1953. His Doctoral research in the area of mechanisms of Organic Reactions was performed under the direction of Prof. William Doering.
