Dan Nogales is the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Northwest Nazarene University. Dr. Nogales joined NNU in 1994 as a professor of chemistry and was appointed dean in 2012. Dr. Nogales received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno and his Bachelor’s degree from Point Loma Nazarene University in 1987. Dr. Nogales completed a postdoctoral fellowship at University of Oregon in 1994 prior to joining the faculty at NNU in the area of pharmaceutical science and drug design. Dr. Nogales has multiple publications and patents in the scientific field and has received funding for both research and education from federal and private sources. Dan lives in Nampa, ID with his wife Jill and three children Kyle, Connor and Kaitlyn.
