Dr. Mary Elbert is a Professor Emeritus at Indiana University. She is one of the nation's premier clinical scientists who is also one of the most influential figures in the field of children's speech sound disorders. The seminal research that Dr. Elbert and associates conducted examined effective and efficacious instructional strategies and treatment efforts. Their work has met the test of time and is recognized as some of the most important data in establishing evidence based practice for the assessment and treatment of speech sound disorders.
