Oppenheim, Alan V., 1937- Superposition in a class of nonlinear systems. Technical report (Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Research Laboratory of Electronics) ; 432. The study of Modern Algebra and the possibilities of its application to the treatment of nonlinear systems was first suggested to me by Dr. Manuel V. Cerrillo of the Research Laboratory of Electronics, M.I.T. I am grateful to Dr. Cerrillo for both this suggestion and for many stimulating discussions during my introduction to research.
Before and during the development of the thesis I was fortunate to have the benefit of a close association with Professor Amar G. Bose and Professor Henry J. Zimmermann. I am grateful for their contributions to my thesis research and to my personal development
