Bio:

Albert is a PhD Candidate in the Molecular, Cellular & Integrative Physiology program at UCLA; and in the National Institutes of Health Graduate Partnership Program. Currently, Albert is performing dissertation research under the mentorship of Dr. Helene Rosenberg in the Laboratory of Allergic Diseases at the NIH. Albert’s research focuses on the role of eosinophils in muscle inflammation.

Prior to joining the PhD program, Albert was a fellow at the NIH, where he focused on vascular defects in the Systemic Capillary Leak Syndrome. Albert began his scientific career at UC Davis, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and completed a research project on the intestinal parasite Giardia lamblia.
