Bio:

I just completed a Ph.D. at Auburn University under the direction of Dr. Nanette Chadwick, studying the physical and biochemical affects of macroalgae on coral-microbial assemblages in the Caribbean. I am beginning a postdoctoral fellowship at the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) in December 2011 with David Bourne. Prior to my doctorate I received my M.S. at California State University Northridge under the direction of Robert Carpenter, studying Corynactis californica distribution in the shallow kelp forest environment (e.g. Eisenia)
