Bio:

Professor Greene received his PhD in Oceanography from the University of Washington in 1985 and spent a year as a postdoctoral fellow at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). In 1986, he joined the faculty at Cornell as a visiting assistant professor in the Section of Ecology & Sytematics. Through the years at Cornell, Professor Greene has served as the Director for the Biological Resources Program and the Ocean Resources & Ecosystems Program. Currently, he is a professor in the Department of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences.
