Priya Palta is a chronic disease epidemiologist with a multidisciplinary research portfolio encompassing research in cardiovascular disease, aging and modifiable risk factors for cognitive decline and dementia. As a cardiovascular epidemiology postdoctoral fellow at UNC Chapel Hill she examined the associations between subclinical measures of cardiovascular disease with cognitive outcomes, as well as the role of modifiable risk factors, such as physical activity on cognition, physical function, and quality of life metrics.
