Relative of psychologist Wayne H. Holtzman (University of Texas at Austin), and trained by Michael J Strube at Washington University in St. Louis between 2005-2011, NSH served as assistant professor and then (tenured) associate professor at Georgia Southern University between 2013-2022. NSH began employment as an assistant professor at Southeastern Louisiana University in Fall 2022.
