Bio:

Walter is a 2nd-year student in the Master's of Interdisciplinary Studies program at Oregon State University, where he also completed his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry & Biophysics with a minor in Psychology. He is especially interested in the neural and biosignaling pathways underlying emotional and social processes. His current research focuses on moral elevation, a prosocial, optimistic feeling state that is triggered by witnessing or learning of the altruistic behavior of other people.
