The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 1934 was awarded jointly to George Hoyt Whipple, George Richards Minot and William Parry Murphy for their discoveries concerning liver therapy in cases of anaemia.
Began his career at Johns Hopkins then moved to the University of California. Nobel Prize winning physiologist and physician who discovered Whipple's disease and studied many aspects of human health, especially anemia.
