魏钟鸣，男，博士，研究员，博士生导师。
2005年本科毕业于武汉大学。2010年7月于中国科学院化学研究所获理学博士学位，导师：朱道本院士。2010年8月至2013年8月，在丹麦哥本哈根大学化学系做博士后研究，合作导师：Prof. Thomas Bjørnholm。2013年9月至2015年1月，在丹麦哥本哈根大学化学系任助理教授（Assistant Professor）。2015年2月加入半导体超晶格国家重点实验室，任研究员，入选中国科学院“百人计划”并获得择优支持。兼任中国科学院大学岗位教授。主要从事低维半导体（如二维原子晶体等）的光电特性研究。
