Bio:

Jean Y. J. Wang received a B.S. in Botany from the National Taiwan University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from UC-Berkeley where she discovered the first protein kinase-dependent regulatory pathway in prokaryotes with Daniel E. Koshland, Jr. She was a Jane Coffin Childs Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she cloned and characterized one of the first human proto-oncogenes in the laboratory of Nobel Laureate David Baltimore.
