Bio:

Dr. Ian Sussex is a Senior Research Scientist and Lecturer in the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at Yale University. Prior to this, he was a Professor in the Plant Science Department at the University of California, Berkeley. From 1960 to 1990 he was on the faculty of the Biology Department of Yale University. Previously he was a faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh, and Victoria University, New Zealand. He graduated B.Sc. and M. Sc. from Auckland University College, New Zealand, and obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Manchester, Great Britain. He carried out post-doctoral studies at Harvard University, and the Agricultural Research Center, Versailles, France.
