Bio:

Prof. Dr. Guodu Liu was born in 1982 in Shaanxi Province, China. He received his B.S. degree in 2004, M.S. degree in 2007, and Ph.D. degree in 2012 from Northwest A & F University. He was a visiting Ph.D. student during 2009–2011 with Prof. Xumu Zhang at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. After two-year postdoctoral research with Prof. Wenjun Tang at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, he then worked three and half years with Prof. K. C. Nicolaou at Rice University as a Robert A. Welch postdoctoral research associate. In 2018, he took his current position as a professor of organic chemistry at Inner Mongolia University. His research interests are in the areas of ligand design, asymmetric catalytic reactions, total synthesis of natural products, and chemical biological study of Mongolian Medicine.
