Bio:

I have always visualized chemical processes and concepts. For my Ph.D. In 1985 at the University of Texas at Austin, J. J. Lagowski was my research mentor, and we developed10 simulated experiments designed to help college students interact with chemical phenomena and discover chemical concepts. For my M.S. in 1976 at Southwest Texas State University (now TSU) James D. Irvin and I researched factors that affect the elongation phase of in vitro protein synthesis in eukaryotic cells. I earned a B.S. Educ in 1971 from New Mexico State University with a major in chemistry and a minor in physics. I taught chemistry for 50 years, which included 43 years at the college level.
