Dr. Mukund Sibi, Professor, Chemistry & Molecular Biology Department, North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND
Mukund Sibi hails from Bangalore, India . After undergraduate studies in Bangalore, he joined Hunter College, CUN, and received his Ph.D. degree under the guidance of Professor Robert Lichter. He carried out postdoctoral studies with Professor Gordon Gribble ( Dartmouth College ) and Professor Victor Snieckus ( University of Waterloo ). He joined North Dakota State University in 1987, where he is currently Jordan A. Engberg Professor of Chemistry. He also serves as the project director for the NDSU Center for Protease Research. His research interests include development of new asymmetric processes, free radical chemistry and total synthesis of natural products.
