Bio:

Larry Sneddon received his undergraduate education at Centenary College of Louisiana before carrying out his graduate studies in boron hydride chemistry with Professor Riley Schaeffer at Indiana University. After obtaining his Ph.D. in 1971, he held postdoctoral appointments with Professor Russell Grimes at the University of Virginia and Professor Richard Lagow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1974 he moved to the University of Pennsylvania where he is presently the Blanchard Professor of Chemistry.
