"Fabio Di Lena"

Fabio di Lena was born in Vico Equense (Italy). He holds a Laurea degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Naples “Federico II” (Italy) and a Doctor of Sciences degree from the ETH Zurich (Switzerland). After a postdoctoral stay at the Carnegie Mellon University (USA) sponsored by a Swiss NSF fellowship, in 2008 he joined the Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences (Singapore) as a Research Fellow. From 2010 to 2012, he was a Senior Scientist at the CRP Henri Tudor (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg). From 2013 to 2014, he was a Scientific Group Leader at EMPA St. Gallen (Switzerland). Since December 2014, he is a Lead Scientist at SABIC Innovative Plastics (The Netherlands) His research interests include polymerization (bio)catalysis, macromolecular engineering, functional surfaces, molecular informatics and sustainable chemistry.
