Bio:

Brian R. Gibney received his PhD in Inorganic Chemistry at University of Michigan under Vincent Pecoraro in 1994 working on metallocrowns. As an NIH post-doctoral fellow, he then studied metalloprotein design under P. Leslie Dutton at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He initiated his independent career at Columbia University Department of Chemistry in 2000, and moved to Brooklyn College, CUNY, in 2008, where he currently the Jacques Edward Levy Professor of Analytical Chemistry.
