主要事迹:
发展了两种改进的E扫描非线性系数测量方法,灵敏度提高了一个等级。利用改进的E扫描方法将热敏光学非线性与其他机制光学非线性区分开来,澄清了一些错误认识,发展了两种光束在厚非线性介质中传播的解析方法,获得了测量与非线性系数之间的解析表达关系。在n型HgCdTe材料中首次同时发现了Hall效应及红外吸收的反成常现象。这些研究成果多次被国内外引用,具有较高的学术及应用价值。承担和完成国家自然基金、863项目、天津自然科学基金、国家教育部重点基金项目10余项。在国内外主要学术刊物上发现论文近40多篇,被引用60余次。1998年,“弱光非线性的机理、测量及应用”获天津市科技进步奖二等奖(第一完成人)。现在的主要研究方向为非线性光学,主要研究内容有:全光晶体管效应,窄带滤波器,光学限制器,热光非线性,光纤非线性等。田建国:研究员,博士生导师,南开大学特聘教授,兼任南开大学科技处副处长。2001年国家杰出人才基金获得者。
从事于凝聚态物理与光子学领域的研究工作,主要涉及光学非线性机理及应用、材料光电性质等国际前沿课题,取得较系统、具有创新性的研究成果。已发表论文40多篇,被国内外同行引用60 多人次.承担和参加多项国家级的科研项目. 科研成果“弱光非线性的机理、测量及应用”获1998年度天津市科技进步奖二等奖一项(第一完成人).
