Larry Suchow received his Ph. D. under the mentorship of Roland Ward. He was for many years Professor of Chemistry at NJIT for he continued his recsearch in the area of solid state materials science. He was born around 1923 and died in Oct., 2012. He also did a Masters Thesis with Roland on phosphors.
