Bio:

Dr Tiesheng Wang (王铁胜) is an associate professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology. He is also a member of the Key Laboratory for Micro/Nano Technology and System of Liaoning Province and a member of the Liaoning Huanghai Laboratory. Dr Wang is pushing the boundary of manufacturing technologies for small and/or functional materials and structures based on materials chemistry for a more interactive world (actuation and sensing).
Dr Wang has over 20 publications in top journals, such as Science, Nature Communications, and Journal of the American Chemical Society. His contribution has also been recognized by numerous awards including a gold medal in the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva 2024 (2/15) and a CSAR PhD Student Award.
