Bio:

June M. Fessenden-Raden obtained a Ph.D. in biochemistry at Tufts University School of Medicine in 1963 working on mammalian microsomal (ribosomal) protein synthesis. As a postdoctoral fellow (NSF and American Cancer Society) at the Public Health Research Institute of the City of New York, Inc. she undertook studies on structure and function of membrane mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation (e- transport, ATP synthesis) and later at Cornell University (NIH Career Development Awardee) conducted research on membrane adenylate cyclase-protein kinase systems.
