Panchao Yin was born in Xiaogan, Hubei province of China in 1987. He studied polymer science and engineering in department of chemical engineering at Tsinghua University (Beijing) and received his BSc in chemical engineering in 2009. He started his PhD studies at Lehigh University in 2009 under the supervision of Prof. Tianbo Liu and works on self-assembly of proteins, macroions, and POMs-organic hybrids. He got his PhD in chemistry from Lehigh University in May, 2013. He is currently a Shull Fellow in Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
