Senior Professor of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Author of three text books for chemistry students. Published close to 100 research papers in journals of repute. Guided more than a dozen Ph. D students. Passionate about chemical education and has received several awards for being a best teacher of chemistry. Writes popular articles for explaining chemistry of elements and compounds of practical importance.
