Bio:

Erickson Rangel do Nasciment is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil. I received my B.S., M.S. and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, in 2005, 2008 and 2012 respectively. He was also a visiting researcher at the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research (BAIR) of the University of California Berkeley from 07/2017 to 12/2018. His research interests include Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, and Graphics. I am working on low level description for images and geometrical data, three-dimensional reconstruction and modeling, participating media, indoor scene recognition, and hyperlapse for egocentric videos.
