Dr.Dhanesh G. Mohan is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E) and a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng) currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute of Materials Joining in Shandong University, Jinan, China. He received his Ph.D., in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India, in 2019.
His research mainly focused on Additive Manufacturing methods like 3D Composite printing, Big area additive manufacturing (BAAM), Direct metal laser sintering (DMLS), High entropy alloys, Selective laser melting (SLM), Quantum dots, and hybrid Friction Stir Welding methods like Laser-assisted FSW; Ultrasonic vibration-assisted FSW, Induction assisted FSW and FSP, and studying and understanding the mechanical, metallurgical, corrosive, and microstructural properties of these methods on metals like steel alloys, magnesium alloys, and aluminium alloys.
