J.R. Katz, 1880 - 1938 at the Album Academicum of the University of Amsterdam
J.R. Katz was a psychiatrist, who held both a PhD degree in chemistry, and an MD degree. He taught at the University of Amsterdam, and at MIT. Working in Niels Bohr's institute in Copenhagen he discovered the quasi-crystalline X-ray structure of stretched rubber
