Joseph A. N. Zasadzinski received the B.S. with honors in Chemical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 1980, and the Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1985. He was a postdoctoral Member or the Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories from 1984 to 1986 under Dr. Saul Meiboom and Dr. Ron Pindak. He then joined the faculty of the University of California at Santa Barbara.
