Hello, my name is Justus Robertson. I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Interactive Games and Media at Rochester Institute of Technology. My main areas of academic interest are human-centered artificial intelligence, computer games, and interactive narrative. I build AI agents that create dynamic interactive stories based on computational models of narrative theory and human cognition. I showcase and evaluate my research with implemented systems that create unique experiences for end-users. These experiences can range from stories with specific narrative or dramatic properties to training scenarios tailored for a specific user, all grounded in models of human cognition.
