Shawn Luttrell received her B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology from the University of Washington in 2010. She joined the Swalla Lab as a Biology graduate student in 2012 and graduated with her Ph.D. in 2017. Shawn studied the development, evolution and regeneration of hemichordates for her Ph.D. In 2017, she began Postdoctoral studies with Dr. David Mack, at the Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative medicine. She continues to study developmental and regeneration mechanisms.
