Dennis L. Molfese, Ph.D. is an internationally recognized expert who has published over 170+ books and articles on brain functions and behavior that include the emerging relationships between brain development, language and cognitive processes from infancy through adulthood, developmental dyslexia, and the impact of concussion on brain-behavior functions. The latter includes work on identifying biomarkers for brain injury as well as the development of interventions to facilitate recovery from brain injury. He is the Director of the Center for Brain, Biology and Behavior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the Science Director of the Big10-Ivy League Concussion Initiative, a Member of the Academy of Sciences Committee on Concussion in Youth Sports and Editor-in-Chief for the scientific journal, Developmental Neuropsychology. He also is Co-Director of a National Laboratory studying reading disabilities. Dr. Molfese is the editor of eight books and is currently working on a new four-volume Handbook on Developmental Neuropsychology (Psychology Press). His work has been continuously funded since 1975 through grants from NIH, NSF, NASA and other agencies.
