Bio:

Fred Moses is professor and chair of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Moses received a B.C.E. from the City College of New York in 1960 and a Ph.D. from Cornell University in 1963. He joined the faculty at Case Western Reserve University where he became professor of civil engineering. In 1992 he assumed his present position at the University of Pittsburgh.
