Bio:

Ruth E. Baltus received her PhD in Chemical Engineering in 1982 from Carnegie Mellon University and joined the faculty in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Clarkson University in 1983. She has served as department Chair since 2007. Her research interests involve macromolecular and particle transport in nanoporous and microporous systems, characterization of porous membranes and characterization of room temperature ionic liquids.
