Bio:

David Galbraith was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and educated at University of Guelph (B.Sc., M.Sc.), and Queen's University at Kingston, Ontario (Ph.D.). Following a two year NSERC post-doctoral fellowship at University of Kent in Canterbury, England, he was appointed Executive Director and Curator of a small not-for profit wildlife conservation organization in Quebec. He joined the staff of Royal Botanical Gardens (in Hamilton and Burlington, Ontario, Canada) two years later, and in 1998 joined the adjunct faculty in the biology department of McMaster University. He has also held adjunct posts at Trent University and University of Guelph.
