Dr. Belous is currently an Associate Professor and Clinical Director for the MS in Child Dev. & Fam Studies, Marriage and Family Therapy Concentration at Purdue University Northwest. In this position he conducts research, teaches courses, supervises students, and directs the onsite Couple & Family Therapy Center, as well as managing and overseeing the internship process for students engaging in community internships. His research interests are in the area of sex and sexuality (therapy, education, and knowledge), pedagogy, assessment, and supervision. Some of his most recent work has been on efficacy and outcome of sex therapy practices, same-gender relationships, gay affirmative therapy, assessment use in therapy, and pedagogical applications of sexual health and positivity.
