"Nil Filatov"Bio:
1847-1902. Father of Russian Pediatrics. He was the first to use diphtheria antitoxin in Russia in collaboration with Gabrichevskii. He taught courses on bacteriorology a the infectious diseases barracks at the University of Moscow, founded in 1891, the same year he was made the head of the Pediatrics Department of the University.
