• Prof Diwan S Rawat did Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow/Kumaun University, Nainital in 1998 and postdoctoral work at Indiana University (1999-2001) and Purdue University, USA (2001-2002).
• He has worked with Lupin Pharama and Panchsheel Org Ltd for two years.
• He was an Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali, before joining University of Delhi in 2003.
• He became full Professor in 2010 and got the distinction of being one of the youngest Professor of the University.
