Trained under the guidance of Raffaele Casimiri and, in particular as regards the organ, with Remigio Renzi , he was one of the founders of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome, of which he designed and inaugurated the great organ Mascioni opus 438 . Among his pupils, Ferruccio Vignanelli and Fernando Germani in particular are worthy of memory . From 1920 until his death he was organist at the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano . He was one of the main exponents of the so-called Cecilian Movement [1] [2] .
