Born in Jodhpur, India, September 23, 1951. BA from College of William and Mary, 1974 in philosophy with minor in mathematics. MA in philosophy from Indiana University in 1982, PhD from Indiana University in Philosophy in 1987 on relations in Plato's Phaedo under the guidance of Hector-Neri Castaneda.
