Bio:

Tom Steele served as the College of Arts and Science’s Associate Dean of Undergraduate Affairs from July, 2002-2010. He joined the U of S in 1992 as an assistant professor in the Department of Physics & Engineering Physics, and was promoted to the rank of full professor in 2000.

Steele received a B.Sc. (Honours) in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from the University of Western Ontario (UWO) in 1983. He received his Ph.D. in these same fields from UWO in 1988. In 1989 he completed a NATO/NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Cambridge (England).
