"Gil Moretto"Bio:
Dr. Moretto is an expert in the R&D for astronomical instrumentation. He has contributed to the projects development and now under construction: DKIST a 4m off-axis mirror solar telescope and the GMT 6x8.4m off-axis mirrors telescope. He currently works on novel telescope optimized for the exoplanets and biosignatures detection - and - on the 3D printable meta-material optical technologies to improve technology readiness for such novel concepts. He is also one the funders of the PLANETS FOUNDATION (https://www.planets.life).
