Bio:

Akira Sone graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a PhD in Quantum Engineering in 2019, and Keio University with Bachelor in Engineering in 2013. He was a previous postdoc in the Theoretical Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory, and quantum software engineer at Aliro Quantum Technologies. His research focuses on quantum information theory and quantum optics.
