Bio:

Nikos Flytzanis obtained his PhD in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics from the Univ. of Virginia (USA) in 1972. He joined the Department of Physics at the University of Crete as an adjunct faculty in 1982. He became an Associate Professor in 2001 and he was promoted to a Professor in 2010. He retired in 2013 and became Emeritus Professor in 2014. His interests are: Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics, Josephson junctions, Non-linear phenomena.
