Grigoris Athanasiu obtained his B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Athens in 1981 and his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Stanford University (USA) in 1987, entitled "Restrictions on two Higgs doublet models and CP violation at the unification scale". He was a Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, USA (1987-90) and at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland (1990-92). He joined the University of Crete in 1992 where he is a permanent Assistant Professor.
Interests: Mathematical Physics, Neural Networks.
